The Experience
You’ve secured your tickets to MetLife—now let Island Tailgate take care of the rest. Customers can expect premium coach-bus transportation to MetLife and back, plus a fully catered tailgate featuring seasonal tailgate and BBQ fare such as burgers, hot dogs, ribs, heroes, and pasta salad. Tailgate-only tickets are also available for guests making their own way to MetLife.
We have three pickup locations; please see the ticket options for details. Customers check in to collect their wristbands before boarding. The tailgate takes place in the MetLife Stadium parking lot, typically Lot L, where tailgate-only customers may also check in. Buses remain in the same location throughout the event and depart 45 minutes after it ends.
Tailgates take place outdoors, rain or shine. We provide some tents, and guests are welcome to bring additional tailgate equipment such as tents, chairs, and cornhole. Buses remain available for shelter during adverse weather.
Allowing for traffic and different event times, the departure schedule is planned around an approximately three-hour tailgate. Check-in opens 30 minutes before departure, and buses leave MetLife 45 minutes after the game or concert ends.
Yes. All buses are equipped with air conditioning and bathrooms.

Food and soft drinks are included with the ticket. Tailgaters may also bring additional supplies they would like, including liquor. Guests must be 21 or older to access alcoholic-drink coolers.

Every full-transport customer is guaranteed a seat on the bus. Guests are welcome to bring fold-out chairs for the tailgate and may use the bus storage for them.
All buses have bathrooms, and additional portable restrooms are available at MetLife.
The menu is traditional tailgate fare, and we do not currently provide alternative vegetarian or vegan options due to limited demand. Guests are welcome to bring their own food if the provided menu is not suitable.
Access
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before departure. Larger groups and guests using under-bus storage should arrive early during check-in. Buses are assigned, but seats are first come, first claimed. Buses cannot wait for latecomers.
Buses leave at the scheduled departure time. If you make your own way to MetLife, you may still join the tailgate and take the bus home.
No. Service dogs are allowed.
There is no minimum age and no alternative child pricing. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and guests must be 21 or older to access alcoholic-drink coolers.
Yes. Wheelchairs are not available to rent.
We recommend taking the train or being dropped off at Mulcahy’s because parking can be limited depending on the day and time. Outside commuter hours, LIRR lots may be available without a permit; please read all posted signs carefully.
Trips proceed unless conditions are severe enough for the event itself to be canceled.
Firearms and weapons are prohibited. Items you are not bringing into the stadium may be left on the bus at your own discretion and risk; you will use the same bus in both directions.
Tickets
No. All tickets must be purchased online in advance. Tickets are not sold at the stadium or box office.
